I would like to thank everyone who entered the latest giveaway hosted on the blog. The two winners have been selected using a random generator and they are: Susan Varney and Kim H. They will be contacted by e-mail shortly to see where they would like their giftcard sent. We really appreciate everyone who entered and it was fun reading what everyone did with their tax refund. We were also extremely grateful for the readers who shared their tax tips. We are in the process of creating a follow-up post which breakdowns everyone’s responses. myMoneyPower is giving away TWO $25 Target Gift Cards to TWO lucky readers! Each reader may only win one prize for this giveaway; there will be TWO winners! Entry into the giveaway is easy, and you may already have entered without knowing it.

How to Enter

Each method of entry provides the contestant with another chance to win. Complete all four methods for four entries into the giveaway!

1. Leave a comment on this post explaining what you are going to do with the money from your tax return. If you are not expecting a refund, just leave a tax tip for the readers. The best ideas will be featured in a follow up post after the contest ends!

2. Follow us on Twitter and ReTweet this post. Something like, RT @myMoneyPower $50 of Target Gift Cards Giveaway – http://bit.ly/aZH84p. Be sure to include the @myMoneyPower so we can track your entry! Hint: You can ReTweet this automatically by using the Pass it on box at the end of the post and clicking the Twitter logo.

3. Become a fan of myMoneyPower on Facebook. Anyone that becomes a fan by the contest deadline will be entered to win. Be sure to recommend the page to your friends so that they may be eligible to win as well! Hint: You can do this via the Facebook box on the right sidebar.

The myMoneyPower blog is aimed at equipping the individual with the knowledge and techniques they need to make improvements in their financial life. Blog posts will range from quick lists to in-depth explanations. There will also be contests with free prizes to contributing readers. By following the blog posts here, readers will be able to make the small obtainable changes that their finances need.

Each blog post will be organized into one of the following categories:

These categories are navigable and readers can access the posts of a specific category. The key subjects of each post will be replicated in the form of tags. Readers may also navigate the blog through the use of tags. Both of these are accessible through the sidebar located on the right.

The myMoneyPower blog is comprised of 16 full-time writers. All of these writers are individuals who have extensive experience in dealing with personal finance management and education. The blog is scheduled to be updated at least 3 times a day, 5 times a week.
